Glengoyne Mizunara Oak

The Glengoyne Mizunara Oak is a truly unique expression from the Glengoyne distillery. This whisky is matured in traditional oak casks before being finished in Mizunara Oak casks. The Mizunara Oak, native to Japan, imparts distinctive spicy notes and a hint of tropical fruit which beautifully complements the rich, sweet and fruity character of the Glengoyne spirit. The result is a whisky with a deep gold colour, a complex aroma of honey, vanilla and apricot fused with toasted oak, black cherries and soft spices, and a richly rewarding, long and balanced finish.
